Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at eobidi@pipmds.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes. Appointments are readily available, including Saturday office hours for well and sick visits.

We are accepting new adult and pediatric patients.

Most patients are seen by the provider within 15 to 30 minutes after arriving. Of course, there are always emergencies which may arise, causing a longer wait time.

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. We participate with most insurance companies.  If we participate with your insurance company, we will file the claim in our office.

Upon receiving your EOB (Explanation of Benefits), a bill will be sent to you monthly if your insurance does not cover the entire amount.

The choice is always up to the patient. We allow you to see the same provider or different providers each time.

The doctor on call does not have access to the chart; and errors can take place without reviewing the medical records.  Please call the office at 8:00 a.m. and prescriptions will be called in as soon as possible.

We do many labs in our offices such as routine urinalysis, rapid strep tests, mono testing, CBC, RSV testing, urine drug screens, urine pregnancy tests, and blood sugars.

We also partner with Quest Diagnostics Laboratory and have a trained phlebotomist available in the office to draw blood for the convenience of our patients.

These samples are then sent out to the lab for testing.

We do require 5 days in advance to referrals to another physician if you have made an appointment. We ask that you call us with the information as soon as possible.

If our doctors refer you or your child to another physician, a referral will be done as soon as possible so that your referral will be at your specialist’s office before your appointment.

Note: We are closed on the following holidays - New Year’s
